Introduction

Each BON email includes key attributes that enable personalized content for every recipient. These attributes update automatically and don’t require manual editing. However, they may not function correctly if their original format or context is changed.

Each email type uses specific attributes to personalize content. Below is a list of emails and the attributes needed for each to display accurate customer information.

Attribute definitions and their corresponding values

Below is a list of email attributes and what they represent. These values are automatically replaced with the correct information for each customer when an email is sent:

  • {{point_amount}}: The number of points customers have earned or are about to expire
  • {{point_name}}: The name of your points (e.g., BON point)
  • {{store_name}}: The name of your store (e.g, Emile’s florist)
  • {{first_name}}: First name of the email recipient
  • {{reward_program}}: The name of your loyalty program
  • {{earn_action}}: The action the customers completed to earn points (e.g., Complete an order)
  • {{reward_name}}: The name of the reward the customers redeemed
  • {{referrer_first_name}}: The first name of the referrer
  • {{referred_friend_first_name}}: The first name of the referred friend
  • {{coupon_code}}: The coupon code given to the referred friend
  • {{tier_name}}: The customer’s current Tier level
  • {{entry_reward}}: The rewards granted upon entering a Tier
  • {{custom_reward}}: The name of any custom reward offered outside of BON
  • {{benefit_complete_order}}: The point multiplier applied to orders for VIP Tier customers
  • {{streak_name}}: The name of the order streak in the Order Booster feature
